Yewmark Journal · No streaks · No nudges · AI optional
Make your mark,
at your own pace.
Yewmark is a journal that listens. Write freely. Talk it through when the words won’t come. Look back and notice what you’ve been carrying — without telling you who to be.
First month on us. No card. Your words stay yours.

Write
Pages, not posts.
A clean editor, autosave, and an AI voice that offers several quiet takes on each saved entry — none of them pushy. Text, voice, or a back-and-forth chat.
Notice
Patterns reveal themselves.
Mood tides and energy weather, surfaced gently — never as a verdict.
Reflect
A second voice, when wanted.
One curated voice — tuned for empathy and concrete direction, grounded in your own past pages. Talk it through. The thread is yours to write up later, or to leave behind.
What’s not here
Some things we left out, on purpose.
- No streaks. A counter that punishes a missed day is the wrong tool for unhurried writing. Yewmark won’t shame you for the week you didn’t open it.
- No scoreboard. No word counts, no entry tallies, no badges, no levels. Your journal isn’t a leaderboard.
- No AI you can’t turn off. Toggle it per entry or per account. The blank page is the product; AI is one of several features sitting beside it.
- No training on your words. Your entries never feed any model, anywhere. It’s written into the privacy policy and the provider contracts.
- No surprise charges. Your first 30 days are on us, no card. After that, we ask once. The free plan is real, not a teaser.
The shape of the product is its discipline about what it isn’t. Read the principles.
“In the journal I do not just express myself more openly than I could to any person — I create myself.”
— Susan Sontag
